The range of behaviours is enormous and can be quite fluid if parameters are chosen right. If the frame is filled with a solid value or a grid pattern, additional behaviours approximating materials behaviours (like ripples) are possible. The values of another stream can be added to the unfolding automata to allow externals forces to affect the automata.
