vj.buffer_cropper	Abstraction		remove silence from the beginning of an audio recording within a buffer~ object
vj.filepather	Abstraction		allows a user to dump a bunch of files in a named folder and have those files automatically loaded to Max's temp search path when the patch is loaded
vj.fileplayer	Abstraction		audio player abstraction that plays back compressed and uncompressed audio including MP3's.
vj.lockstate	Abstraction		reports if a patcher is locked or unlocked

vj.random_filename	Abstraction		abstraction that creates a random filename. Output has descriptive filename and random number in front. No more overwriting sfrecord~ files when batch recording in multiple sessions!!

EAMIR - Guitar Hero	Standalone Application		Using the controller of the popular game Guitar Hero, I began writing a program that would allow the buttons of this controller to play the notes of any diatonic scale. created by V.J. Manzo
EAMIR - Lazy Guy	Standalone Application		Lazy Guy is an interactive music system for composition and performance. Using a webcam, Lazy Guy tracks a color chosen by the user by mouse-clicking on the first window. This color is then tracked and visually displayed in the second window.
EAMIR - Monochrome	Standalone Application		Monochrome is an interactive music system for composition and performance. Monochrome takes user input from a graphics tablet and generates a piece in reaction to the artists gestures on the tablet. created by V.J. Manzo
EAMIR - P5 Glove	Standalone Application		The P5 glove controller sends 5 streams of continuous data for each of the five fingers on the glove. Data is also sent with respect to the glove’s X Y and Z orientation. created by V.J. Manzo

Modal Change	External		The Modal Change object is a compositional algorithm to control modality. It outputs scale degrees and creates tables and lists that adhere to one of the 7 modes. created by V.J. Manzo

EAMIR - the Electro-acoustic Musically Interactive Room		The EAMIR project is an open-source effort to enable educators with technology for music education. Software is designed around a common configuration which can be easily implemented by music educators around the world by downloading source code and standalone applications through eamir.org. Users who understand programming can edit the source code and post their new source and standalone applications back to the site for the EAMIR community to use. Much of the EAMIR software is also designed to allow students with physical and mental disabilities to create meaningful music using interfaces that are accessible to their needs. The EAMIR SDK allows users to easily create their own EAMIR-like applications by connecting preassembled interface modules to musical modules. Modal Object Library		The Modal Object Library is a collection of objects for Max/MSP that control modality. Included are objects for all 28 diatonic modes (scales), the Messiaen modes, chords, triads, progressions, modal relationships and modal analysis. This library would be especially useful to those interested in algorithmic composition and interactive music systems. Free registration is required.
