slide~ External Slide filters an input signal logarithmically between changes in signal value.
Slide filters an input signal logarithmically between changes in signal value. The formula is y(n) = y(n-1) + ((x(n) - y(n-1))/slide). It's particularly useful for envelope following and lowpass filtering.
smooth-biquad~ External smooth-biquad~ is just like biquad~ except that new coefficient updates are "smoothed"
smooth-biquad~ is just like biquad~ except that new coefficient updates are "smoothed": the object linearly interpolates the coefficients from the old value to the new value over one MSP signal processing vector.
snapshot~ External Report sample values from a signal
snapshot~ outputs the current value from an input signal when it receives a bang.
snum Abstraction snum controls midi note input suitable for *~ control in MSP.
sogs~ External Smooth overlap granular synthesis.
Distribution/licence : IRCAM Forum
spectroscope~ External User-interface display of spectrogram or sonogram information.
speedline~ Abstraction Generate ramps and line segments based on speed
spigot~ External Route QT and SoundManager audio into MSP
The spigot~ object creates a sound output component whose output is routed into MSP. The jit.qt.movie object can be set to play it's audio through and instance of spigot~ using the message soc spigot-name. Multiple jit.qt.movie objects can use multiple spigot~ objects with differing names, or they may share a single spigot~ object, in which case their audio will be summed. Other applications which support manual selection of sound output components(e.g. Peak), may also be set to route their audio to the spigot~ object by selecting the appropriate component in the application's sound output menu. This requires that the spigot~ object exists prior to selecting it in another application.
spike~ External Report intervals of zero to non-zero transitions
splay~ Abstraction graphical interface for sfplay~
sqrt-pan~ Abstraction square root panner
sqrt~ External Square root of a signal
St.amplePlay~ Abstraction Simplifies the creation of sample players.
Just feed it with the filename or full pathname of your sample, and a simple bang will trigger it. It does have an autoplay modus which will automatically trigger the sample after it has been loaded. The middle outlet is a signal going from 0. to 1. and the right outlet will bang when finished playing.
St.ampler~ Abstraction Loads samples from the specified folder and spreads them automatically according to their defined base key over the keyboard. It can have up to 6 parameters.
St.Buffers~ Abstraction Creates and loads a number of buffers~ for my St.ampler according to the content of soundfiles in a specified folder.
My sampler will distribute those samples across the keyboard according to their original pitch settings. (You can set those for example with Peak) Or according to their names.
