drown~ External noise reduction
drown~ reduces the energy of low energy bins for noise reduction. Or you could use a factor > 1. to increase the noise in the signal.
dspstate~ External Report information about current DSP settings
dspstate~ can be used for calculations that require the sampling rate of current DSP processing block size. You can also use the leftmost outlet to trigger some event when the audio is turned on or off. dspstate~ outputs state information automatically whenever the audio is turned on or off. You can also get the information by sending a bang. Connecting a signal to the dspstate~ object's inlet reports information about that signal, although currently, all signals have the same sampling rate and vector size. Note that dspstate~ will not output anything if the audio is not turned on in its window.
dsptime~ External Report time since audio was turned on
dyn~ External This external allows the dynamic creation and deletion, connection and disconnection of standard PD objects and abstractions.
this external allows the dynamic creation and deletion, connection and disconnection of standard PD objects and abstractions. These objects are hidden inside dyn~ , but fully accessible by tags. They behave just like normal objects in a patch do.
edge~ External Detect zero to non-zero signal transitions
ej.l2buffer Javaclass (mxj) fill a buffer~ with a list
ej.mout~ Abstraction Panpot on multiple output (up to 8).
ej.vdb-sig~ Abstraction Variable delay without clicks or transposition (accept signal as delay time)
Variable delay without clicks or transposition (cheaper than vdb~ in the Bennies)
ej.vdb~ Abstraction Variable delay without clicks or transposition.
Variable delay without clicks or transposition (cheaper than vdb~ in the Bennies)
elasticindex~ External A pitch-shifting time-stretching index~ style Max object, using a highly efficient and flexible algorithm.
elasticindex~ works very much like the established index~ object found in the standard MaxMSP library but with an extra pitch inlet, making speed and pitch control totally independent. The algorithm used is designed specifically for Max to be as efficient and flexible as possible.

If you want to see the sort of thing possible with elasticindex~ have a look at the video demo at www.elasticmax.co.uk

elasticx~ External A pitch-shifting time-stretching looping Max object, using a highly efficient and flexible algorithm.
elasticx~ works very much like the established groove~ object found in the standard MaxMSP library but with two totally independent controls: Pitch and Speed. The algorithm used is designed specifically for Max to be as efficient and flexible as possible.

If you want to see the sort of thing possible with elasticx~ have a look at the video demo at www.elasticmax.co.uk

elastic~ External A pitch-shifting time-stretching looping Max object built around the same algorithm used by Cubase, Ableton, and Kontakt.
elastic~ works very much like the established groove~ object found in the standard MaxMSP library but with two totally independent controls: Pitch and Speed. The algorithm used is designed specifically for 'musical' material, allowing a natural sounding pitch-shift up to an octave above and below the original pitch of your sample, whilst playing back at up to double or half speed.

If you want to see the sort of thing possible with elastic~ have a look at the video demo at www.elasticmax.co.uk/#demo
envfol1~ Abstraction envelope follower
This is an exponential envelope follower which converts the amplitude of an incoming signal into floating-point control values. The incoming signal is lowpass-filtered and sampled with the snapshot~ object. The responsiveness of the amplitude following can be controlled by changing the cutoff frequency of the low-pass filter; the lower the cutoff frequency, the slower the response. This abstraction is similar to rms1~ and vu1~, although it is tailored to a specific purpose.
en_analyzer~ External interface to The Echo Nests's audio analysis.
en_analyzer~ is a Max external that provides an interface to The Echo Nest's audio analysis API. The Echo Nest provides automatic musical analysis that uses machine listening techniques to extract attributes such as tempo, key, time signature, harmony, timbre, and rhythmic structures. With en_analyzer~, Max users can use The Echo Nest's technology to analyze audio data from a buffer~ object. The resulting analysis data can then be used to manipulate the original audio. Possible applications include building visualization tools, filtering or sorting segments of a song based on their pitch or timbre, and using rhythmic and harmonic events in a song to trigger another musical or visual process.
ep.binSpat~ Abstraction handles binaural spatialization for use with headphones through the use of hrtf's.
ep.binSpat~
version 0.16 29-03-2006

ep.binSpat~ is an msp object (abstraction) that handles binaural spatialization for use with headphones through the use of hrtf's. It can virtualy position a monoaural source on a horizontal plane 360 degrees around the listeners head by dynamic control of two parameters: direction and distance. It doesn't control vertical positioning.

Thanx to soundHack for sampling the HRIR's.
Some theory info: http://interface.cipic.ucdavis.edu/CIL_tutorial/3D_HRTF/3D_HRTF.htm
Only tested on OSX 10.4.4 with MaxMSP version 4.5.6. Heard from others that it works on OS9 and Windows XP too, though.
