au~ External Finally, you can run and control Audio Units from within MaxMSP. Requires MaxMSP 4.6.
This external operates in a similar fashion to the vst~ object, allowing you to process any MSP audio stream with any installed Audio Unit, and control any of its parameters with any other Max object. The external is still in beta, so expect the occasional crash. Probably best to avoid using it in performance for the time being, but hopefully any lingering gremlins are sorted out in the next few months.
int.vst Abstraction wrapper for MSP's vst~ object. allows vst plugin parameters to be used as presets
jr.pmp Abstraction abstraction to replace plugmultiparam, when values from 4th outlet of vst~ are needed (requires Lchange)
tl.vst.helper Abstraction GUI helper for vst~.
Incorporates common messages (plug, bypass, etc.), a simple way of polling and dumping all parameters for storage in embedded coll file, pattr implementation as list of all parameters (max 256) and reporting changes to single parameters.
tm.vsti-init Abstraction A simple VST plugin that passes audio thru, however is required to initialize all vst~ objects if you wish to use them at some point as VST instruments.
vst~ External Hosts VST plug-ins
Hosts VST plug-ins. The vst~ object loads a real-time VST plug-in and uses its audio processing in MSP. Some plug-ins have their own editing window, which is visible when you double-click on the object. Otherwise, double-clicking on the object displays a default parameter editing window. The number of signal inputs and outputs default to 2, but the number required by the plug-in may be less than that. If you want to specify a larger number of inputs and outputs, you can supply them as optional arguments.
