mchain Abstraction re-interprets numerical sequence according to Markov chain principle
bang re-interprets numerical sequence according to Markov chain principle (a temporary loop is automatically inserted between the last and first notes played)
MsToTempo Abstraction converts milliseconds into tempo
offer External Store X, Y pairs temporarilily
offer was designed for use with algorithms that transform the pitch of an incoming note stream. By storing the original and transformed note together (the transformed may be sent in the right inlet, immediately followed by the original, or they can be sent as a list) when the pitch of the note-on is changed, the transformed pitch can be retreived when the note-off is received. An example is shown in the subpatch at right. Double-click to see it.
op.beatitude~ Abstraction Beat and tempo tracker abstraction.
This beat tracking abstraction uses "some kind" of empirical threshold based analysis based on "some kind" of bark spectrum. It is inspired from the Tristan Jehan's beat~ external but does work on different rythmic situations.
Use it for simple automatic spychoacoustic sound segmentation and tempo finding.
operand Standalone Application with the rise of granular synthesis becoming more and more popular, either being with synthesizers or sample manglers. the one thing i have not seen of it, is step sequencers, none at all.
this is where operand comes in.
• drag and drop sample folders [aiff/wav/mp3].
• effects [stereo filters, multitap stereo delay, stereo reverb and stereo stutter. [updated]
• stereo audio/effect matrix. [new]
• colour coded filter, stutter, delay and reverb step effect grids. [new]
• store/recall setting for pitch, duration and panning. [new]
• key controls [sample channel hits with keyboard, tap tempo].
• random pitch/pan/duration.
• global and dedicated step/clock controls. [updated]
• external audio recording.
• plus much more.
pptempo External Define tempo and sync mode parameters (pluggo)
Define tempo and sync mode parameters
psw.resource2data External copy any resource from a resourcefile into a temporary file
qlim External Queue based speedlim
The qlim object is similar to a combination of speedlim and jit.qball. In Jitter, most execution take places in the low priority queue to prevent drawing to the screen at interrupt. The speedlim object unfortunately places messages back in the scheduler for execution, and thus may result in a crash when used to temporally downsample streams of Jitter matrices if overdrive is turned on. The qlim object is an interrupt safe replacement for this and other tasks.
random arpeggiator Patch If you play a chord on your MIDI device, this patch will randomly play one note at a time from the chord at a specified tempo.
render_node Patch A handy tool for managing both real-time preview and offline rendering in Jitter OpenGL patches.
Render_node can record both audio and visuals offline in sync. Visuals can be rendered with proper temporal antialiasing or "motion blur." Playback is controlled via the timeline.
rit-acc Abstraction Generates a ritardando or an accelerando
Generates a ritardando or an accelerando, depending on the slope parameter. If it is < 1, the tempo becomes faster, when it is > 1, the speed slows down.
sync~ External Synchronization from tap tempo, MIDI beat clock or audio click tracks.
sync~ outputs a 0-1 ramp, like phasor~. The frequency of the ramp can be specified in beats per minute (BPM), or by sending sync~ a tempo reference via tap tempo, MIDI beat clock, or an audio signal containing a 'click track.' Also, sync~ generates MIDI beat clock to synchronize external devices.
Synmergic Loop Editor plugin Pluggo (plug-in) a pluggo-based VST plugin focused on creating and editing musical patterns on-line.
The most important feature of this plugin is the online editing of musical patterns. Your on going music project remains private, having its own tempo, other VST instruments and FX…, in other words having its own unique musical character, while at the same time everything you do in this plugin is by principle public. The musical patterns exist at the synmergic server, not in your computer, and changes made to these patterns are directly reflected to anyone who uses them in his own project. Although the musical patterns are shared among various projects, this plugin is not about sharing static audio loops or bits of music, but instead it is about interaction and joining the creative process of others. The various projects sharing musical patterns form a network of on-going musical creations.

The plugin features a powerful polyphonic FM generator with the extra ability of generating various noises or even re-sampling real time audio input. Each audio event in a musical pattern has its own set of FM parameters and a dedicated envelop so that the synmergic VST plug-in comprises a versatile tool for creating audio loops.

Output numbers at a metronomic tempo
