ambicube~ External ambicube~ is a 3-dimensional version of ambipan~.
ambicube~ is a flexible MaxMSP and Pure Data external object providing surround panning for sound sources in multi-loudspeakers environments thanks to Ambisonic techniques. It is possible to use both signal and control data to feed the object, to switch dynamically between several setups (number and position of loudspeakers). It is also possible to use either polar or Cartesian coordinates.

codepend~ External block convolution processor
codepend~ is a classic "block convolution" processor. performs a complex multiply upon the spectra of two input signals. Multiplication of spectra can cause significant drops in the amplitude of the output signal. The invert message causes codepend~ to perform complex division of the input spectra rather than multiplication. This can cause huge amplitude gains. Careful switching between multiplies and divides, such is not recommended during performance without careful gain handling.
cv.jit.opticalflow External Calculate optical flow using a variety of techniques.
Optical flow is a measure of the velocity of each pixel between two consecutive frames. In other words, displacing the pixels in the first image by the optical flow should produce the second image.

Optical flow can unfortunately only be estimated, not precisely calculated. For this reason, there are several optical flow estimation algorithms. cv.jit.lkflow and cv.jit.hsflow implement two of the most famous approaches, but because the output format and its meaning are the same, cv.jit.opticalflow encapsulates several algorithms, allowing you to easily switch between them to find the one that best suits your needs.

Appart from the Lucas-Kanade and Horn-Schunk techniques, cv.jit.opticalflow currently implements the "block matching" algorithm and an algorithm by Gunnar Farnebäck.
decode External Decodes a number to a specified "flag" outlet, Send 1 or 0 out a specific outlet
decode acts as a hierarchical switchboard. The right inlet is the master switch, which can turn off (send 0 out) all outlets. The middle inlet is a submaster switch, which can turn on (send 1 out) all outlets, provided they have not all been turned off by the master switch. The left inlet can turn on one of the outlets exclusively, provided neither the submaster switch nor the master switch is active.

Using the controller of the popular game Guitar Hero, I began writing a program that would allow the buttons of this controller to play the notes of any diatonic scale. Since, nearly all of my K-12 students play this game regularly (and better than me), I saw the practicality of using this controller, which they all seem to know, as an interface for making tonal music. The first 4 buttons are mapped to the 8 notes of any diatonic scale with respect to any tonic. The fifth button enables chord mode which enables each note to act as the root for the typical bar chord voicing found in guitar literature. The back button on the controller allows them to switch the octave designation.

gate~ External Switch input to different output signals
Switch input to different output signals. The gate~ object is a version of the Max gate object for signals. It takes an argument for number of outputs (one is the default) and lets you route an incoming signal by sending an int to its left inlet. If there is more than one input, gate~ shuts off all outputs except the one you select, where 1 selects the left outlet, 2 selects the next one to the right, etc. gate~ can also control the activation or deactivation of part of a signal processing network. For an example, see the begin~ help file. Note: "shutting off" a signal means disconnecting it from a gate~ output and outputting a zero signal instead. This is different from the behavior of the Max gate object.

gvp100 External gvp100 is an interface to an ECHOlab DV7 video switcher
gvp100 is an interface to an ECHOlab DV7 video switcher, which utilizes the Grass Valley Protocol. It sends commands to a serialX object, which controls the serial port that the video switcher is attached to, and responds to data returned from the video switcher via the serialX object.
