between-log-urn Abstraction random based object
Bang (or any input) in left inlet outputs a random number of a logarithmic scale between min and max with a certain number of elements. An already chosen element is blocked until all the others have been selected ("repetition check").
cel Abstraction A short for compare select.
choice-rhythm Abstraction rythm generator
First a supply of rhythmical values (ED = entry delays) is generated. Whenever a bang is sent to the rightmost inlet, a choice of the indices from this supply is made which serves as a choice list for a random ("alea") selection of ED«s.
clean_selector~ External Gives clean crossfades between signal sources. However, cannot mute incoming signals.
colorblobs Abstraction Graphical multi-dimensional interpolation spaces for pattrstorage.
Based on the same principle as that on which the user interface for Electrotap's "Hipno" is based, colorblobs is a graphical preset interpolation interface. Unlike hipno, colorblobs can interpolate between the presets stored in any pattrstorage object. The heavy lifting in this abstraction is done by carefully written java code for optimal speed. The graphics are provided by an LCD (faster than any JSUI or jitter graphic). The distribution comes with a set of example patches for using colorblobs to control synthesis, processing, spatialization, and also to control the very spatial configuration of a color space using another color space. For more on this data management concept, see Ali Momeni's paper: http://ali.corpu color="#CC0000">selectronica.com/documents/intuition.pdf
colorpicker External Select a color using a modal dialog
The colorpicker object uses an Operating System color picker dialog that lets you choose a color to be output as a Max RGB color. On the Mac OS, the Color Picker dialog that lets you choose colors in several different color spacesŃred-green-blue (RGB), hue-saturation-value (HSV), web-safe colors, and the nostalgia-inducing crayon mode. On Windows, you are presented with a standard color picker dialog, including a selection of basic colors, custom colors, a color swatch and numerical input for red-green-blue (RGB), hue-saturation-luminance (HSL)
dentist~ External dentist~ punches out all but a select set of partials.
dentist~ punches out all but a select set of partials. The argument is the maximum frequency from which to select partials. Bang to reset partial selection. Send an int to specify how many partials to resynthesize
digital pseudo-wind-chime chaos Patch All it does is basically randomly fires out a note in a manner which sounds similar to wind chimes blowing in the breeze
This patch is kind of like the computer muzak patches mentioned above, except that it uses a MIDI device to make its sound. All it does is basically randomly fires out a note in a manner which sounds similar to wind chimes blowing in the breeze (especially if you have the right sound selected on your midi device).
dot.region Abstraction Outputs and centre of multiple selected areas of a list (binary).
EAMIR - Lazy Guy Standalone Application Lazy Guy is an interactive music system for composition and performance. Using a webcam, Lazy Guy tracks a color chosen by the user by mouse-clicking on the first window. This color is then tracked and visually displayed in the second window.

Lazy Guy is an interactive music system for composition and performance. Using a webcam, Lazy Guy tracks a color chosen by the user by mouse-clicking on the first window. This color is then tracked and visually displayed in the second window. The orientation of the tracked color will determine the pitch and velocity of a MIDI tone generator much like a Theremin. Lazy Guy differs from a Theremin in that the user may select from a bank of tones to play enabling Lazy Guy to perform in various keys on the fly. Lazy Guy is best performed with a laser pointer (hence the name ""lazy [laser]"" Guy) color to be tracked.

EAMIR - Slider Standalone Application Slider is a touchscreen musical interface that converts graphical table data into a linear array of musical notes.

Slider is a touchscreen musical interface that converts graphical table data into a linear array of musical notes. The slider software is run on a touchscreen computer which allows the table data to be entered by physically touching the graphical interface. Each point in the table is analyzed serially and yields a note. The notes are played back at user variable rhythm which can be changed by touching a rhythmic value icon at the left. The tempo can be changed as well. When a user touches the screen, the points are read and produce notes. The higher the line appears when it is read, the higher the note will sound. A keyboard appears beneath the table to reflect the pitch of the point currently being analyzed. By default, notes are read “up and down” that is, from left to right to left. This option can be changed to have notes read up (from left to right only) and down (from right to left only). Like all EAMIR software, the slider software can be customized to work with the sounds of any type of synthesizer. By default, the slider software will filter all of the notes to the 7 pitch classes of the C Major scale. The tonic and mode can be changed at any time by selecting from one of the 11 pitch classes or one of the 28 diatonic modes at the bottom left of the screen. User made patterns can be stored and recalled with ease by shift+clicking in the preset grid.

EAMIR padKontrol Standalone Application The EAMIR padKontrol system uses the Korg padKontrol USB MIDI controller and PC or Mac compatible software to compose music.

The EAMIR padKontrol system uses the Korg padKontrol USB MIDI controller and PC or Mac compatible software to compose music. When the software is launched, the user can select between two modes of operation: Absolute Mode and Relative Mode. Both modes utilize the padKontrol’s 16 touch-sensitive pads to create chords in some manner.

ED-rhythm Abstraction rythm generator
Creates a rhythm by selecting entry delays supplied by a list of entry delays which has to be sent to the rightmost inlet. The selection is achieved by one of the three selection mechanisms alea (=1), series (=2), and sequence (=3) which is the argument of this function.
ether~ External ether~ selects portions of two input signals and creates a composite output spectrum based upon the amplitude of the inputs
ether~ selects portions of two input signals and creates a composite output spectrum based upon the amplitude of the inputs. The loudest band of the two inputs will be selected. Sending the inverse message will reverse this behavior selecting the weakest. The composite index is a scalar for the selection of the second input. Useful values will vary according to the amplitude characteristics of the input signals. Try values greater than 0 and less than 100. But higher values may be effective depending upon the input signals.
Evolve External Generates new Lists from a List using genetic algorithm
Evolve is based on conventional genetic algorithm. It produces offsprings (new Lists) from an initial List of integers. The user selects which offspring he prefers (the fitness function is not part of the object) and new offsprings are generated using reproduction, mutation and crossover.
