gain~ External Logarithmic fader for signals
Logarithmic fader for signals. gain~ is a slider that scales signals. It can also make a smooth transition as you move from one value of the slider to the next. Parameters of line's formula that translates between slider values and the signal scalar can be changed via messages or by selecting the object and choosing Get InfoÉ from the Max menu. The formula values are the same as for the linedrive object.

jit.cyclops External Analyzing and tracking live video.
Cyclops is a Max object for analyzing and tracking live video. Through a simple interface, you can track performers and users with a video camera and analyze greyscale and color information from the live image. You can use the resulting Cyclops data to control MIDI, audio, video and anything else that you can do in Max.
jit.fluoride External Neon glow
The jit.fluoride object does a cheap approximation of a neon glow effect. Individual cell values fade into a specified color as they approach a luminance value. Cell values greater than the luminance value fade to black. Values outside of a tolerance boundary are passed. The jit.fluorideobject can work on an input matrix in either greyscale or color, depending on the setting of its mode attribute.
jit.lumakey External Key based on distance from a luminance value
The jit.lumakey object measures the chromatic distance of each of the left input's cells(pixels) with a reference luminance calulated by the formula lum = (ascale * alpha_value) + (rscale * r_value) + (gscale * g_value) + (bscale * b_value).
jit.normalize External normalize matrix data
Normalizes a matrix and scales the input values to a uniform domain.
jit.resamp External Resample spatially
The jit.resamp object spatially resamples the input matrix. This can be used to scale (zoom in/out) and offset (move) an image horizontally, vertically, or in both directions.
jit.rota External Scale/rotate in 2D
The jit.rota object provides quick 2-dimemsional scaling and rotation for matrices.
jit.scalebias External Multply and add
The jit.scalebias object scales the values of a 4 plane input matrix of type char (ARGB) and adds to an offset value (bias).
jit.scanoffset External Uses a 1-dimensional matrix to offset scanlines
The jit.scanoffset object uses a 1-dimensional slice of one matrix (in2_matrix) as a map for the offset and scale of the scanlines of another matrix (in1_matrix)

Included are objects for all 28 diatonic modes (scales), the Messiaen modes, chords, triads, progressions, modal relationships and modal analysis. This library would be especially useful to those interested in algorithmic composition and interactive music systems.

Free registration is required. Registration forum offers patches, and objects based on this library.
