jstrigger	External		Sequential evaluation of Javascript expressions The jstrigger object combines the trigger and expr objects using Javascript. Unlike either of these objects, you can create and output lists in response to input. The jstrigger object is less efficient than the trigger object, but if you are trying to express a complex sequence of operations, you may be able to express a solution without resorting to real Javascript, Java, or C code.

lp.kg	External		Map I Ching values to nonstandard ranges One common way to consult the I Ching when there are less than 64 alternatives is to ask the I Ching how much weight to assign the individual choices. The I Ching is consulted for each of the choices wanted, and the hexagram values chosen are assigned as weights to each choice. Then a range of hexagram values proportional to the weight of each choice will be assigned. Thereafter, when a hexagram number is chosen from the I Ching, it is mapped to the choice with the relevant range. This process is computed for both "present" and "future" I Ching values. In lp.kg the choices are numbered starting at one.
lua~	External		Lua~ is a Max/MSP external embedding an extension to the Lua programming language for computer music composition (the Vessel library), supporting sample accurate interleaving of synthesis and functional control. Lua~ is a Max/MSP external embedding the Vessel library for Lua, supporting dynamic yet deterministic interleaving of both signal processing and structural control with up to sample accuracy. For representation, it comprises an interpreted music programming language (a variation to the Lua programming language with extensions for event, control and synthesis articulation), while for rendering, it comprises a deterministic, dynamic, lazy scheduling algorithm for both concurrent control logic and signal processing graphs. A lua~ object embedded in a Max patch can load and interpret Lua scripts that make use of these extended capabilities in order to receive, transform and produce MSP signals and Max messages accordingly. Lua~ is particularly well suited to granular synthesis, algorithmic microsound and accurate timing needs, helpfully circumventing some of the limitations of the Max/MSP environment for such work by supporting highly dynamic signal processing graphs in parallel processes according to timing specifications below block rate. Using an interpreted scripting language within a graphical programming environment such as Max offers advantages of control flow, generality of data and structure, high precision and control, complexity of data and functional interdependency and variable scoping.

multiply accumulate signal (*=~)	External		Signal multiplication and accumulation. Each incoming bit is multiplied with the previous output signal, starting from a given argument. Usefull when using MSP as alternative signal mechanism (for when Max fails in accuacy). Analogue to the +=~ object. Also resets to 0 by a bang and sets to a value by a "set" message.
