jit.gl.model External Read and draw Wavefront .obj models
The jit.gl.model object requires one argument: the name of a drawing context. A named drawing context is a named instance of a jit.window,jit.pwindow, or jit.matrix object that has an instance of the jit.gl.render object associated with it. This value may also be set via the OB3D drawtoattribute. The jit.gl.model object reads and draws Alias/Wavefront .obj files. Currently, only tessellated polygons are supported, and not advanced features of the .obj format such as NURBS or parametric surfaces.

The jit.gl.nurbs object renders a Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline (NURBS) surface. A NURBS is a mathematical model that lets you represent virtually any desired shape, from points, straight lines, and polylines to conic sections (circles, ellipses, parabolas, and hyperbolas) to free-form curves with arbitrary shapes. You can also control the shape of a curve a NURBS generates via sets of control points and knots that can be altered to control smoothness and curvature. A NURBS surface is also an economical way to represent complex shapes with very little data.

This is a Bpatch form of the patch. The computer keyboard can control the pitch like a midi keyboard. 4 voice polyphony has now been added with accurate note on/off tracking.

poly External Allocate notes to different voices, polyphonic voice allocation
Poly does polyphonic voice allocation. The one here has only two voices for the sake of clarity. The notes you send are repeated to the outlets only if a voice was found for them. The right outlet passes through any notes over the maximum number of voices allowed. If a second argument is given, poly implements voice stealing, and the overflow outlet goes away.
