Apply nonlinear transfer function (aka waveshaping) to a signal to simulate an overdriven amplifier.overdrive~ distorts signals by applying a nonlinear transfer function. The shape of the function is determined by a floating-point "drive" parameter. If drive is 1., the signal is unchanged. Increasing drive increases the distortion. If drive is set to less than zero, VERY LOUD BAD distortion results, which may or may not be desireable. Use caution.
