Evaluates Clojure expressions within the Afterglow context. Combined with message objects, gives you an easy way to make Afterglow do things that are not worth creating special objects for. Useful examples in the Help patcher include starting and opening the web interface, enabling a connection from a full-featured Clojure development environment for debugging custom effects, and activating an attached Ableton Push controller.

The jstrigger object combines the trigger and expr objects using Javascript. Unlike either of these objects, you can create and output lists in response to input. The jstrigger object is less efficient than the trigger object, but if you are trying to express a complex sequence of operations, you may be able to express a solution without resorting to real Javascript, Java, or C code.

leaker~ combines two input sounds, with the spectral contribution of each sound determined by an internally maintained sieve and a threshold selection value. At value 0, only sound 1 is heard and at value 1, only sound 2 is heard. At intermediate values, parts of each spectrum are aggregated according to the sieve structure which may be specified as "upsieve", "downsieve" or "randsieve". An optional non-zero argument doubles FFT size (and CPU strain).

number~ is designed to make it convenient to monitor signal outputs for debugging. It can also be used to supply a constant signal value. It combines the functions of snapshot~, a floating-point number box, and sig~/line~. number~ can display either the incoming signal (when the wave icon is present in the box) or the outgoing signal (when the arrow icon is present). Click on the picture to switch display modes. When the display shows the input signal being monitored, you can't change the value by clicking or typing. When the outgoing signal value is displayed, you can click in the box to select it for typing or change it in the same way as a floating-point number box.

sadam.base64 External Base64 encoder & unencoder object.
sadam.base64 will encode and unencode any message you send it (actually it takes into consideration only the first element of the message if the message has multiple elements). Since the base64 encoding contains only alphanumerical characters and a few symbols (which are: +, / and =), the encoded string can safely be used outside the native Max world (for example, with MXJ or in text files). Combined with sadam.lzo it can be used to safely transmit huge amount of data over network using for example the MXJ-based jit.net.send object, or for storing (originally) binary data in an external text file.

Sigmund~ analyzes an incoming sound into sinusoidal components, which may be reported individually or combined to form a pitch estimate.

The sprintf object allows you to use the famous C-language "printf" function inside Max. You can combine symbols, organize lists of numbers, or format messages or menu items. Examples of sprintf are shown below, but for complete documentation, refer to a standard C library reference manual.

These Max objects have been enhanced since the documentation to the left was written. Help files for the objects provide information on enhancements.

The matrix object has been substantially upgraded. It now combines features of unpack, spray, funnel, append, and prepend into one object. This makes a great object to place between controllers and jit objects because it acts like a multi-prepend. There are new configuration commands and enhancements to the old: even, odd, mod,and range, among others). Most commands can be applied to inlets of outlets. There is also a mute function that adds another layer of control. Matrixctrl support has been enhanced. See the help file for full details and examples.

Most other objects now fully support floats. RCer and autocount will count in float values, not just integers.

Notegen16 is a 16 channel version of its predecessor: notegen. It is more generalized and much more efficient.
