Feedback Delay Line External Quality Feedback Delay Line with adjustable resampling algorithm.
The primary goal of the project was to implement a Feedback Delay Line with comparable audio quality to the delays found in the Supercollider environment. It even goes a step further and implements a resampling algorithm (developed by ccrma at Stanford) which results in a far better audio quality at low reading speeds.

FrontPanel Patch A configurable control panel for organizing presets or parameters in a patch
FrontPanel is a script-configurable control panel. It is a way of organizing, loading and saving parameters or variables in a patch. It can be used as a more versatile replacement for the 'preset' object. Using FrontPanel, the parameters in the patch can be edited and saved as coll or text files.
funnel External Map an integer into a list identified by inlet number
funnel makes lists that identify the source of a number. It can be used to store numbers into a table or coll based on their source (open subpatcher below). Or it can be used in conjunction with env and spray (see env help file).
group External groups numbers received in succession into a list.
groups numbers received in succession into a list. This object is much the same as thresh, except that since it is told how many numbers to wait for, it returns immediately upon receiveing the last one with no time delay. The length of the list to collect is given as an optional argument and in the right inlet. Numbers in the left inlet are collected into a list until the proper number of them has been received, then they are sent out the outlet.

hpass1~ Abstraction highpass filter
This is a first-order IIR (infinite impulse response) highpass filter using biquad~. When you look inside you will see that it is made by subtracting a lowpass filtered version of a signal from the signal itself. The lowpass filter used is lpass1~, one of the simplest filters in the Jimmies collection (see lpass1~). The hpass1~ module accepts a cutoff frequency value which defines the frequency at which the low frequencies will begin to be attenuated; they will be attenuated right down to 0 Hz. There is no control for the slope of the attenuation curve (see hpass2~ for a second-order highpass filter).
jb.collstats Abstraction return statistics on a coll
jg.granulate~ External granulation of input from a buffer
jg.granulate~ granulates sound stored in a buffer. You define a segment of the buffer and set how quickly the granulator moves through the buffer (traversal speed). Other parameters include grain rate, grain duration, randomization of grain input and output times, transposition, grain envelope. You can set a transposition collection, from which grain transpositions will be selected randomly. Output from 1 to 8 channels. Everything can be changed at run time.

GPL-licensed source code is available.

imp.dmx
debug: SELECT prenom, nom FROM auteurs RIGHT JOIN auteur_libraries USING (id_auteur) WHERE auteur_libraries.id_library='157'David Butler imp.dmx is a cross-platform collection of Max/MSP/Jitter abstractions for dealing with DMX data in various forms. It focuses around the use of jitter matrices to store data, which the objects then read and write to. The aim is to provide the bridge between your patch and whatever object or method you use to output DMX from Max. The abstractions use native Max objects only, excepting the Art-Net patches which use some custom java networking objects, included in the distribution package.

MaxAlea
debug: SELECT prenom, nom FROM auteurs RIGHT JOIN auteur_libraries USING (id_auteur) WHERE auteur_libraries.id_library='96'Carl Faia MaxAlea contains various objects for random distributions and functions. MaxAlea was begun as a Max port of an existing PatchWork Library created in 1991-2 by Mikhail Malt. While the distributions and functions found in MaxAlea are similar to those found in the Patchwork version ,there are many differences in their functioning. The environment of Patchwork is static and is not designed for real-time work. Part of the incentive for creating these objects to work with Max was to have a dynamic and real-time environment with which to experiment and work with these algorithms in a manner as simple and straightforward as possible. One can change variables and manipulate the output in many ways in real-time. There are several different versions of the various stochastic models/processes best presented in the now classic references by Denis Lorrain and Charles Dodge. Carl Faia has used a variety of sources for the creation of this library which include the Lorrain, Dodge and Malt implementations as well as sources found on the WorldWideWeb. The externals found in the package include several random distributions, examples of random walks and 1/f noise algorithms, as well as one or two utilities written specifically for the MaxAlea library. Carl Faia wanted to make a coherent collection (as he thought Malt had managed to do in PatchWork) of these various algorithms and provide an interface easily accessible using the Max environment for real-time control. All these algorithms have been created using a seeded version of the random function found in the standard AINSI library. That is, each time the function is first run there will always be a different set of random numbers (unlike the random funtions found in Max, PatchWork and other versions of random number generators).
