Welcome to the Max Objects DataBase !

This site is designed to find objects, patches, applications, etc... from Max universe (Max/MSP, Jitter,...).
Just as an indication, some objects are listed to be available on Pure Data as well.

If you register, you could add objects, libraries, comments and news. You could edit or delete the data you added. Registering is free and safe; already 98886 members are registered.

Notes from the webmaster

Dear Maxers,
I'm pleased to announce that this site will NOT close this April 2016 as expected! I'm happy to say that Ninh, Mathieu, and I have been working hard so that MaxObjects.com<http://MaxObjects.com> is now part of EAMIR, so, in short, the great work that Mathieu & Ninh have started here will continue on even though they're retiring from this project!

Expect some new features very soon!

All the best,

V.J. Manzo

DIPS5 v1.02 was released at its renewed homepage: http://dips.kcm-sd.ac.jp. Face tracking bug was fixed and two of new sample patches have become downloadable there. In addition we are working on DIPS Leap Motion objects that make easier to use this device in Max patch.

grainbuffer~ has been fixed/updated from original 32-bit version (Max 4.5 & Max 5) to 64-bit (Max 6) version. Source has been migrated to Git Hub.

New features include:

Multi-channel expansion: option for 1 - 32 channels of spatialized grains, which is specified after the buffer~ name. Uses a modified equal power pan logic, which may be suitable for ring-like speaker layouts. For multi-dimensional spatializtion (azimuth and elevation) 1 channel is recommended with an external spatialization scheme (such as ambisonics). Note on output channels: Default (no argument for output channels) is Stereo Max 4 Live Compatiblity mode, which is the same as if the argument provided = 2. This object will crash in M4L if a another value is provided for this argument.

Everything is updated to 64-bit resolution.

The arbitrary limit on the grain pool was increased to allow for higher resolution grain densities. This coincides with processor performance improvements since the original creation of this object.

CAVEATS: while the object seems to compile properly in Windows, there was no system available to test the object... so use at your own risk. This will be confirmed/updated as soon as the opportunity arises.

This is not really an object and not a Library. I wrote a Max javascript reference as a JsDoc-style documentation. If you want to support this little project, you can set a link to it from your homepage or give some help with examples...
